Built in 1928 as the "Lambyvilla"

Vacation home of Family “Lamby” from Germany.
Political circumstances forced Family “Lamby” to sell their villa to my great-grandfather “Rodel Toni”. He was a visionary and pioneer at the Rodelhütte. As early as 1909, locals and guests came to Rodel Toni at the “Rodelhütte” to enjoy the wonderful environment. The first ski pioneers were already on their way. In 1931, the Hochpillberg was the venue for the Austrian championships, although not yet on the Hecher but on the small Gamsstein.

Rodel Toni and his wife Kähte had three daughters: Grete, Johanna "Hansi" and Gertrud "Trude".

Hansi and her husband Erich inherited the Lambyvilla from “Rodel Toni”! So the four “Hansi, Erich, son Toni and daughter Birgit moved into the Lambyvilla and opened the Landhaus Frieden in 1952! The birth of today’s Alpine Panorama Hotel Frieden.

1955 the economic upswing by the construction of the cable car from Schwaz to the Rodelhütten.

1960 Construction of the cable car from the toboggan hut to the Hecher. Hecher Sepp, the landlord of the ski hut and father of Olympic medal winner Traudl Hecher, ran the “Hecher” tea huts with great passion.

Wedding.

In 1975, daughter Birgit married Robert, also from Pillberg, who traveled around the world as a ski and sailing instructor. The family grew, son Gert and Erich joined them. Robert received his ski school license in 1977. The opening of ski rental followed in 1979.

Since 2006, the house and the ski school have been run by son Erich.

He is supported by his wife Sarah, his mum Birgit and his children Lea, Max & Luis.
